Healthy Habits For 2021 and Beyond
It’s that time of the year where many of us start thinking about and planning our health and wellness goals. Any time of the year is always a good time to decide to invest in your health and wellbeing. We’re sharing some healthy habits that you can take with you into the New Year and beyond.
Take Your Vitamins

Make a Plan

Try planning out your meals for the week on Sunday. Or, if the week feels like too much, then plan them out through Wednesday. Another key part to plan is when you will work out for the week, and this is just as important as planning your meals. Pull out your calendar and physically pencil in the days and times you plan on working out; this alone will increase the odds of it actually happening.
Now, imagine that you go into the week without giving the above any thought. You “know” you want to eat healthier and work out that week. Which option sounds more likely to be successful?
Increase Your Protein Intake

Find Your Community
Everything is more fun when you have a community alongside you. Do you have a friend who is interested in improving their health and wellbeing? Team up to tackle this together. Share recipes and meals for the week, or go on a walk together. Finding like-minded individuals who are on the same journey as you will make it all the more fun.
Consider searching for Facebook groups with health and wellness topics to make a couple of new ‘virtual’ friends. MyFitnessPal is a great app to hold you accountable for tracking your food, water intake, and exercise.
