Almond and Honey Dairy-Free Ice Cream
by Shelly Kramer on March 21, 2018
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream! It seems like just about everyone loves ice cream for dessert…but not everyone can eat it without feeling sick! That’s why there’s a need for all kinds of ice cream, including ice cream that doesn’t contain dairy for the lactose intolerant. If you’re wondering how that works, keep in mind there are lots of dairy-free foods on the market these days, with almond milk being just one of the many ingredients that result in a lactose-free milk substitute. Intrigued? One of my favorite chef bloggers is Jamie Oliver, and I regularly whip up his Almond & Honey Dairy-Free Ice Cream for my family and friends, several of whom are lactose intolerant. Here’s the scoop (pun intended) on how to make this delicious almond & honey dairy-free ice cream—
