Vitamin D and Diabetes Risk

Vitamin D has been in the news a lot lately. Hormones are produced in the body and affects all parts of our bodies. Most people have heard of estrogen or testosterone. Obese and lean subjects that had diabetes or other glucose metabolism disorders had low levels of vitamin D. The study shows that vitamin D is linked more closely to diabetes than obesity.
