As a board-certified internal medicine doctor with a specialty in geriatrics this liposomal vitamin C has been the ideal product for my clinical practice. Many of my elderly patients have difficulty swallowing larger pills or dental issues making chewing tablets cumbersome. I have found this product to be a very easy and palatable option for my patients. The consistency of this Vitamin C is most similar to nectar thickness which is ideal for many individuals who have difficulty swallowing. Thicker liquids travel more slowly down the throat and that makes them easier to control reducing the risk of aspiration. I typically recommend this product to patients as an immune booster or as an adjunctive treatment for a patient’s wound care regimen as vitamin C is essential in the synthesis of collagen which promotes quicker wound healing.
After reading about the Liposomal method & absorption online I realized this was the best way to get vitamins. I have been using this product everyday for the past few weeks. I feel like I have more energy after starting to incorporate this into my morning routine. I normally mix it in with my juice, I think it adds a nice flavor and is very palatable. I know others simply take a teaspoon to the month, but I prefer mixing it in my morning tangerine juice. The bottle is for 60 servings which makes me feel better about the price.
