Julie, the Simple Veganista, knows her way around a sandwich, and this one is no different. Topped with ingredients such as avocado, cucumber, tomato and hummus—this sandwich is perfect for any summer occasion!

Side notes: It’s vegan, but we think adding a slice or two of meat would make it meat eater approved!

Chickpea Sunflower Sandwich

And we have to say, we believe her! This sandwich is perfect for any summer occasion. Packed full of chickpeas, sunflower seeds, cherry tomatoes, and maple syrup—this sandwich has enough oomf to keep you full without weighing you down.

These BBQ sliders need no introduction. Jenné, of Sweet Potato Soul, is one of our favorite food bloggers, and with this recipe, she’s really out done herself! This is a Southern-style sandwich through and through! Perfect for a day at the beach or a backyard BBQ.

We know what you’re thinking, “this is not a sandwich.” But isn’t a wrap just a sandwich that’s been folded? And we gotta say, Cal-EZ nutritionist Danielle Omar hit it out of the park with this one! (Or maybe we should say her husband did since this is technically his guest post!) This wrap is PACKED with summer flavors, and we think the lamb is a great way to mix up the traditional sandwich meat selection.
